The spreadsheet warehouse problem

Warehouses running on spreadsheets or basic ERP inventory modules typically operate at 80–85% accuracy. The remaining 15–20% discrepancy is shrinkage, picking errors, and misplaced stock. Every shipment error has a cost — re-delivery, customer complaint, credit note.

Every item has an address

Address-based storage means every SKU has a designated cell. Pickers follow a system-optimized route, not memory. Placement strategies (FIFO, FEFO, ABC) are enforced automatically.

Every movement is confirmed by scan

Receiving, placement, picking, and shipping all require barcode scan confirmation. A wrong item cannot be shipped without a system alert — reducing errors by 70%.

Inventory in real time, not end of day

Stock levels update with every scan. Finance sees accurate inventory for COGS calculation. WMS and ERP share one record — no reconciliation required.

What's included

Warehouse management screen: inbound receiving, bin-location assignment, and an inventory-count worksheet with stock levels — light theme, blue accents.

Frequently asked questions

Does EFRION WMS integrate with EFRION ERP?

Yes, natively. Inventory movements in WMS update stock levels and cost of goods in ERP automatically. A shipment confirmed in WMS generates the delivery document in ERP without re-entry.

What hardware is needed for WMS?

EFRION WMS runs on any modern web browser for desktop operations. Mobile operations use an Android app for handheld terminals (HHT). Any standard Android HHT or smartphone works — no proprietary hardware required.

How does cycle counting work without stopping the warehouse?

EFRION WMS supports zone-by-zone cycle counting. While one zone is being counted, the rest of the warehouse continues normal operations. Blind counting mode prevents staff from seeing expected quantities before counting.

What is the difference between FIFO and FEFO placement?

FIFO (First In First Out) moves older stock first based on receipt date. FEFO (First Expired First Out) prioritizes items by expiry date — critical for food and pharmaceutical warehouses.

How quickly can WMS go live?

WMS deployment typically completes in 5–6 weeks: warehouse topology setup (week 1–2), data import (week 3), staff training and parallel run (week 4–5), go-live (week 6).
